We decided to take a day’s break from practice—we’d been going at it hard and we were ready. We were also ready for some fun. Steve and Shelley graciously opened their house to many family members and friends, and we all had a wonderful time eating and catching up with old friends. Mark this on the calendar—this may be the FIRST Cirkus party where nobody was stumbling around, nobody was drooling, nobody was getting sick, and nobody was getting in trouble for anything—and it was just as great as ever…
